The brothers CAVALRY, Max and Iggor, will arrive in Europe this summer to relive with their fans the most significant (and violent) moments of their careers, but also to show younger generations how this “old school metallic chaos” is at the base of what would become groove metal and influence the waves to come: metalcore, nu metal or alternatives.
The founders of Sepultura will in fact be performing on stage the entirety of their fifth album, the aptly named “Chaos A.D.”. It is through the 12 tracks of this veritable sonic tornado, released in 1993, that the most famous of Brazilian bands transcended their already innovative death/thrash by incorporating punk/hardcore, even industrial, elements and even traditional Brazilian music.
This special tour dedicated to “Chaos A.D.” follows the “Third World Trilogy Tour” during which Iggor and Max CAVALERA (accompanied by Igor Amadeus Cavalera on bass, Max's son!) celebrated Sepultura's first three albums: “Bestial Devastation” (1985), “Morbid Visions” (1986) and “Schizophrenia” (1987). In other words, this return to basics undertaken by the two brothers sets the record straight in Belo Horizonte. Remember, their motto Refuse/Resist is more relevant than ever!
