For the third year in a row the Heavy Week-End will take place at Nancy Open-Air, the June 5, 6 and 7, 2026 and will host, in order of appearance on the Zenith stage: SABATON on Friday, GOJIRA on Saturday and ELECTRIC CALLBOY on Sundays, three of the most attractive figures on the current “metal” scene, each of these groups representing a very specific current of this music that is constantly regenerating, or even reinventing itself.
National pride obliges, GOJIRA will undoubtedly create a sensation by giving Nancy her one and only concert in France in 2026. A show capable of uniting all the metallic fringes of France and which will be part of his performances in the first part of Metallica, scheduled in Europe next year. An unmissable opportunity to join these singers of groove metal in their irresistible rise.
In a completely different style, the Swedes of SABATON will give a history lesson to the sound of their unifying power metal, paying tribute to legends such as Napoleon, Joan of Arc or Julius Caesar, in a universe full of fire and fire.
Finally the Germans ofELECTRIC CALLBOY will unfold with their ultra-dynamic and optimistic anthems, which are sure to make the audience jump in all directions.
Three days, three groups, three styles, three good reasons to meet at Heavy Week-End The June 5, 6 and 7, 2026 as part of the Nancy Open-Air.

More bands to come

Heavyweight of the current heavy metal scene, SABATON is enjoying unprecedented success around the world and particularly in France, where the group headlined Hellfest in 2022, before giving a sold-out concert at the Zénith in Paris in April 2023 during “The Tour to End All Tours”.
In 20 years and 10 studio albums, SABATON has accumulated gold and platinum records while generating more than 4 billion streams on all platforms combined, and nearly two billion views on YouTube! With a legion of ultra-loyal fans, SABATON is distinguished by an artistic approach combining exceptional stage design and production with grandiose conceptual albums, linking real historical war events to classical heavy metal. A unique vision that he has always taken care to transcribe on stage and that the group is now ready to transcend on the occasion of “The Legendary Tour”, which will be part of the Heavy Weekend on Friday, June 6, 2026.
Entitled “Legends”, the 11th studio album by SABATON , which has just been released, is aimed at fans of rock and history of all ages. This time the Swedish group is passionately looking at the journey of some of the most striking and fascinating characters in history, such as Joan of Arc, Napoleon, Julius Caesar by Genghis Khan or the Japanese arms master Miyamoto Musashi to name but a few.
A clip through which SABATON pays tribute to Napoleon and remakes history, not without humor.

April 19, 2025: Sao Paulo, Brazil, Monsters Of Rock festival, after 10 years of absence, Savatage was finally back on stage alongside Scorpions and Judas Priest. A few weeks later, the band arrived in Europe for a series of enchanting concerts that will pass through France and Hellfest.
Formed in the early 1980s in Florida, Savatage gradually became a true force in the nature of the heavy metal scene, going from being a “simple” “hard rock” group to that of creator of colossal works, arranging their albums like great classical music composers.
Impressive in terms of power and precision, rich in lyrics, their songs are often conducive to great lyrical flights where instrumental breaks are combined with sublime choruses. A moving musical eloquence that musicians know how to perfectly transcribe on stage through performances that command respect.
In 2026, Savatage therefore confirms that they are indeed back, since the group has just announced a long summer tour, including the Heavy Week-End in Nancy, will be one of the first dates. A rare moment in our country, a must for anyone who dreamed of being able to enter again: in the Hall Of The Mountain King!

In almost 25 years, AVANTASIA has become one of the key players in the German rock and metal scene. Imagined by Tobias Sammet, a multi-talented master builder, this “opera” simply redefined the foundations of theatrical symphonic metal, with choruses that were as mesmerizing as they were grandiose, describing a multitude of intriguing soundscapes.
AVANTASIA is also an impressive “success story” based on 10 studio albums (including “Moonglow” ranked No. 1 in Germany in 2019), synonymous with numerous gold records, hundreds of millions of streams and headlining concerts “sold out” around the world (such as at Olympia in Paris last March) or appearances at the biggest festivals on the planet.
On record as on stage, Tobias Sammet always knows how to surround himself with an “all star line-up” guaranteeing superb guitar duels and captivating vocal jousts. During a concert at Heavy Weekend, the Nancy Open will therefore become Avantasia's dream theater.

Formed in 2022 in Nuremberg, Germany, Dominum already has two albums to his credit. Their thing is Zombies, their power metal also draws its main influences from the TV series The Walking Dead And the video game The Last of Us.
They go on stage masked, their singer made up for the occasion in Dr. Dead, then plays the role of a mad scientist who controls a horde of ghosts, understand his musicians. It is therefore in an atmosphere that is not unlike the universe of Lordi, that we listen to their songs as we watch a “scary” movie with friends.
Note that Dominum was also noted for the quality of the covers that flourish on his records such as “Rock You Like a Hurricane” by Scorpions, “Bad Guy” by Billie Eilish or “Beds Are Burning” by Midnight Oil.

“Ah! ça ira, ça ira...” It is indisputable, when, on July 26, 2024, the famous revolutionary song set La Conciergerie on fire to the sound of incendiary riffs by GOJIRA, the group found itself propelled into another dimension. But if this unforgettable performance during the Opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games allowed him to win a Grammy Award and to make itself known well beyond the closed circle of “metal” lovers, the French quartet did not wait for this to be recognized by its peers and fans internationally.
It has now been 25 years since GOJIRA released their first album and toured around the world like no other French rock band had managed to do before them. On July 29, during the Carcassonne Festival, GOJIRA offered a taste of the show that he will give next December on his French tour, which already promises to be historic and for which we expect more than 100,000 spectators!
While in May/June 2026, the group will provide the first part of Metallica in various major European cities, the Saturday June 6, GOJIRA will be in Nancy to headline the Heavy Week-End for what will be his only concert in France for the year 2026!
Relive the day when Gojira made history by becoming the first metal band to perform at a Opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Once considered to be the young wolves of the “metal” scene, it must be admitted that today, with nearly 25 years of career and 10 albums under his belt, Trivium is now one of the established values of the circuit and perfectly symbolizes the generational renewal of this music.
Over the course of their records, the quartet from Orlando, Florida, has been able to question the codes of extreme metal by injecting a dose of melody, a touch of rock'n'roll while maintaining a scale specific to black metal. There are few bands that can appeal to both Metallica and Iron Maiden fans.
With a total of over one million albums sold, hundreds of sold-out concerts, over half a billion streams, and a GRAMMY® Award nomination, Matt Heavy (vocals, guitar), Corey Beaulieu (guitar), Paolo Gregoletto (bass), and Alex Rüdinger (drums) will light up the Heavy Weekend scene with fireworks of guitars, wild rhythms and choruses that will shake the Nancy Zenith Open

Next summer the brothers Cavalera will arrive in Europe to relive with their fans some of the most significant (and violent) moments of their careers, but also to show younger generations how this “old school metal chaos” is at the base of what would become groove metal and influence the waves to come, whether metalcore, nu metal or alternative.
The founders of Sepultura will in fact be performing on stage the entirety of their fifth album, the aptly named “Chaos A.D.” It is through the 12 tracks of this veritable sonic tornado, released in 1993, that the most famous Brazilian band transcended their already innovative death/thrash by incorporating punk/hardcore, even industrial elements and even industrial elements and even traditional Brazilian music.
This tour, dedicated to “Chaos A.D.”, follows the “Third World Trilogy Tour” during which Iggor and Max Cavalera celebrated the first three albums of Sepultura: “Bestial Devastation” (1985), “Morbid Visions” (1986) and “Schizophrenia” (1987). In other words, this return to basics undertaken by the two brothers sets the record straight in Belo Horizonte. Remember, their motto “Refuse/Resist” is more relevant than ever!

They have appeared on the stages of the most emblematic festivals such as Glastonbury, Hellfest, Rock en Seine or Les Vieilles Plouilles Plouches and shared the stage with legends like Foo Fighters, Muse, and Bring Me The Horizon. Praised by icons like Tom Morello (“an incredible band”) and Elton John (“phenomenal”).
Now entering a new era, Nova Twins have revealed” Parasites & Butterflies ”, their latest album that shakes up genres, combining hip hop, punk, rock, pop and electro influences.

If you had to designate a band to symbolize the evolution and perpetual renewal of the “metal” scene, it's a safe bet that ELECTRIC CALLBOY would be one of the most frequently mentioned names. By combining the power of their guitars with almost techno rhythms, the quintet is simply successfully revolutionizing the genre. Beyond their music, the Germans of ELECTRIC CALLBOY never hesitate to inject a good dose of humor into their compositions, just watch their clips, which are a hit on YouTube, “Elevator Operator” in mind, to realize it.
These supercharged videos and their live performances full of energy and love (from the memory of a “metalhead”), we had never seen so many hearts and rainbow flags displayed during a concert at Hellfest, where they performed in 2023 and 2025) are the basis for their exponential popularity. Their hectic rhythms, their electrifying riffs combined with their “positive attitude” are communicative and shatter prejudices, thus pushing the limits of a music that is sometimes a bit too often trapped in its codes... If the fans, more and more numerous, are convinced in advance, “the others” are convinced in advance, “the others”, necessarily more skeptical about this “brand new” sound, are at first doubtful, before irresistibly Make jumps, to finally get out of this multicolored sound parade, with a smile on your face simply happy.
The Sunday, June 7, at Heavy Week-End, ELECTRIC CALLBOY will therefore deliver a show where joy, conviviality, tolerance and repeated pogos will be the only watchwords.
Warm up to the sounds and images of this song that perfectly embodies the exhilarating DNA ofElectric Callboy

Three Days Grace recently released “Alienation”, an 8th studio album that not only marks the return of the original singer Adam Gontier alongside Matt Walst, the other vocalist of the combo, it also represents the starting point of a new era for this Canadian group that started making waves in the early 2000s.
Between melancholic ballads to rock anthems tinged with a touch of nostalgia, Three Days Grace successfully set off to meet a new audience thanks to his emotionally-charged lyrics and the powerful sound that characterizes him. Three producers are behind this big comeback: Howard Benson (Hoobastank, My Chemical Romance, P.O.D... ), Zakk Cervini (Blink-182, Simple Plan, Limp Bizkit, Limp Bizkit, Parkway Drive, Yungblud, Bad Omens, Architects) and Dan Lancaster (Bring Me The Horizon, Muse), that is to say how much Three Days Grace has strong arguments to reach all the fringes of the current rock scene.
After billions of streams, millions of albums sold and sold-out tours, including two sold-out concerts in Paris in December, Three Days Grace and its powerful rock sound invite you to the Heavy Week-End to celebrate their revival in the right way.

Originally from Boston, Ice Nine Kills is the archetype of the captivating group both in terms of the sounds it produces and the images that illustrate them. Leaving nothing to chance musically and visually, these Americans represent the present but also the future of “metal” thanks to melodies that are as powerful as they are catchy, and vocal attacks that seize the listener by the throat.
In France, the band went from Parisian clubs to the Stade de France in support of Metallica! On stage, INK's shows are in line with those of Alice Cooper or Rob Zombie, that's to say the least. After drawing inspiration from classic horror movies, the band is now pushing their artistic exploration to other movie blockbusters in general, finding unlimited opportunities to broaden their musical spectrum. An artistic approach that is simply fascinating.

Armed with his “Shadows” Shaârghot ravages the scene and imbues each place with black paint, in a delirious cyber-punk and post-apocalyptic atmosphere.
One of the great revelations of the industrial - electro/punk scene, the creature cut its teeth with the biggest names in the genre: Little Big/Punish Yourself/Hocico/Ministry/Ministry/Les Drums du Bronx/Les Drums du Bronx/Front 242...
